Happening this Week
Adobe Price Rises. Adobe’s stock fell over 15% this week due to concerns about how it is monetising it’s AI offerings… in response Adobe has announced it is increasing prices of some photography plans. Great news… See the new plan options and details here.
Expensive VS Cheap 35mm film cameras. Can you tell the difference and is the price difference really worth it? This video jumps into the question.
Capture ONE updates. Alternative photo editor Capture one announced a raft of updates this month. Now with quicker exports and faster processing on their revolutionary ‘Match Look’ feature, Capture One is looking like a better and better option for wedding photographers all the time.

Pesky Reflections. It’s not all bad from Adobe this week. They also announced a new feature called reflection removal. That, um yes, removes reflections. *Very useful use case: not needing to roll down your window to take that shot while driving and risk it ALL.

🎞️ New ‘Analogue’ Camera
New new…
This week film camera store and now creative powerhouse Analogue Amsterdam has announced they are developing a new 35mm camera from the ground up.
First of all the website is VERY slick and worth a look on it’s own… But also the camera looks incredible. With lidar autofocus, a f2.8 lens, and a small yet strong flash it’s inspired by all the great compact film cameras we all know and love - the company describes it as just ‘taking all the best bits’. Sounds good to us! See this video for a quick overview.
