🪝 Hooked: How Photographers are Curating Social Posts to Keep Attention

The social media game. Love it. Hate it. Ignore it. Game it? Whatever you do, the landscape is shifting every week. And while social media is not the only place to grow your brand and book weddings, it is A place. And if it’s your thing you know attention is the name of that game.
And here’s the thing, just blindly posting a few photos a week, or every couple of weeks is NOT gonna get you where you want to go… not anymore.
SO today, we dive into some ‘right now’ examples and breakdowns of photographers who are pushing boundaries and trying new things to get you and (hopefully) clients HOOKED.

THE PHOTOGRAPHERS POV
Inside the Genius Mind of Briars Atlas at Neuendorf House
You might think you’ve seen it all at this Mallorcan wedding venue… but not till you’ve see it through the lens (and words) of Briars Atlas. Part Octopus, part alchemist, part photographer, Oli captured this in a whirlwind of compositional excellence and gear-swapping instinct that turned this familiar spot into something unpredictable and alive.
“Matt legged it up to the rooftop, Alison was hanging around the front, I got them aligned (not terribly much work there in case you canʼt tell), and simply let things happen. You canʼt direct this stuff... get them in place, scratch whatever compositional itches matter, let them be, and make sense of it afterwards, it is possible to interfere too much. This one immediately felt like an homage to my favorite painter, Jeffrey Smart.”
