  • Serious Drone Fines in Spain. Yes, we know many photographers just fly, license free, and hope for the best with drones, but itโ€™s getting serious guys! This drone user faces at $231,000 fine after flying at the wrong place at the wrong time. Go get the drone license.

  • Instagramโ€™s new repost feature. This week saw a few big updates from Instagram, including a โ€˜repostโ€™ feature and section on your profile - with some photographers already out there curating a โ€˜repost feedโ€™ you can check out how it works here.

  • Sigma doing a good thing and NOT raising prices (like EVERY other company) in response to tariffs. See their release, and beautiful website here.

  • Group Shot Fail. What do you do if you miss an important shot? Hereโ€™s a story, and a bunch of ideas of how to deal with the situation.

  • Best of Film 2024. Well known Spanish film lab Carmencita, releases โ€˜Best of Booksโ€™ each year and they are awesome. Finally seeing 2024 out now.

  • EF to L-Mount. Meike just dropped a new adapter to allow L-Mount cameras (Panasonic, Leica and Sigma) to use older Canon EF lenses. Nice.

  • Tripod Innovation gets even better with this new Ulanzi tripod that seems perfect for the travelling wedding photographer.

  • Lost in Love Replay. This week Lyndel of Lost in Love Photography presented a wonderful workshop in Lensel Pro titled, โ€œFrom Solo to Studio.โ€ All about growing a wedding photography team and business.
